Quodis in a nutshell

Established in 2001, we are a specialized boutique working out of Liberdade 229, the premium coworking space we operate in the heart of Lisbon, Portugal. We design and build usable and engaging websites and web applications for your business using open source tools and respecting web standards.

Besides working on your projects we also actively participate with our local web community, develop our own experimentations for Quodis Labs and are working on launching our own web app to the consumer market. Discover our recent work or get in touch to talk about how we can work with you.

Headquarters & Coworking

Back in the summer of 2009 we were presented with a tough decision: leave our gorgeous workplace or rent the whole floor, which was way too big and expensive for us.

That's when we created Liberdade 229, a small, cosy coworking floor in Av. da Liberdade, Lisbon's top business district in the heart of the city, right next to the subway.

We still work in the same room as before, but around us we have 8 coworking desks and 5 team-rooms. And they've been all booked ever since. If you're ever in Lisbon, feel free to drop by and meet us, or just stay tuned for tech-related events we host from time to time.

Founded Quodis back in 2001 just after high school. He's the hybrid: back and front-end developer, designer, director, human resources, financial... you name it. If you speak German, he's the guy you should talk to.

The latest addition to the team has been imported from Amsterdam to build anything he can get his hands on. After years of northern art-school Jan still thinks colour is overrated, and usually sticks to the black & white programming screens, be it for web or mobile.

Our lead designer joined us in 2008, after experiences with Painting, Art history and Acting. Producing and promoting free music is a still heavily ongoing experience.
